Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various welding techniques and be able to work on complex fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality welding operations using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and tools
- Train junior welders and provide technical guidance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with other team members on fabrication projects
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of different metal types and their properties
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Requirements
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of welding experience
- Welding certification preferred
- Experience in fabrication and manufacturing
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in various positions
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work in different weather conditions
